3D Miniature Tabletop Sandbox
Notice: Included 3D models are parody assets provided for testing and evaluation purposes only. They are not for sale, redistribution, or trade, and are intended solely for use within this application.
3D Miniature Table Top Sandbox
3D Game Tester is an interactive sandbox designed to help you create, prototype, playtest, and visualize your custom 3D tabletop and board game concepts with dynamic multimedia integration.

โจ Key Features & Capabilities
- Interactive Video Triggers: Assign any
.webmvideo to individual grid zones. When a unit rolls or moves onto a space, it triggers a fullscreen or overlay video event (simply click anywhere to dismiss). Set spaces tonullfor regular movement without triggers. - Dynamic Stat Parsing: Use a fast, standardized syntax to automatically load character parameters directly into the UI:
[name]_[action]_[atk]_[def]_[ext]. - Distance & Line of Sight (LoS): Built-in measurement tools with toggleable distance metering and modular default terrain to test cover and line-of-sight mechanics.
- Integrated Dice Rolling: Built-in dice system to immediately resolve combat, movement, and event checks.
- Bring Your Own Assets: Easily load your own custom
.glb3D models, board textures, and video assets. (Check the download section below for starter files and templates!)

Part 1: Comprehensive User Manual
1. Overview & Architecture
3D Miniature Tabletop Sandbox (v6.12) is a browser-based, client-side virtual tabletop (VTT) engineered with Babylon.js, Tailwind CSS, and PeerJS. It enables tabletop roleplayers, wargamers, and card game designers to stage tactical board scenarios in 3D using custom 3D models (>span class="s2">.glb/.gltf), 2D billboard standees (.png/.jpg), dynamic animated WebM cutscenes, and real-time WebRTC peer-to-peer multiplayer.
2. Top Navigation Bar Controls

|
P2P Multiplayer | Host a session to generate a 4-character room code, or join an active room code via WebRTC.
|
Camera Reset (๐ฅ) | Returns the camera to default orbit coordinates (0, 24, -20) targeting scene origin (0,0,0).
|
Fullscreen (โถ) | Toggles browser fullscreen mode.
|
Fog of War (๐ซ๏ธ) | Enables dynamic visibility calculations (reveals tiles within a 6.0-unit radius of miniatures).
|
